While you are thinking on that, ponder this:
Motivation is the key to your success. Knowledge is not. Not that knowledge is not useful. It is very useful. But when you are motivated you will seek out the appropriate knowledge and put it to use right away as opposed to seeking knowledge as a way to avoid action.
When you are motivated you are Enthusiastic about Life Shotz and the 21TEN opportunity. You are on fire about them. Fire warms everyone around it. Enthusiasm is contagious. When you are on fire you will talk to people in such a way so as to warm them to what you are doing.
When you are motivated, you are Persistent. Setbacks are mere bumps in your autobahn to success. You bounce off the mat like a martial artist ready for what is next.
When you are motivated you are Creative. Creative to solve problems for yourself and others and creative to design strategies that work.
When you are motivated you are Courageous. Courage is the act of seeing danger and acting anyway. Prospecting can show up as dangerous but the courageous leader loves it anyway. And after a little bit of it they realize there is no danger, just fantasies.
If you could get yourself Enthusiastic enough, Persistent enough, Creative enough and Courageous enough, what could you accomplish? The answer is probably 10 times more than you may have already.
Think about what you intend to build here. Think about the payoffs for you. Think about how much fun it will be to be on top of that wave. Think about it. Write about it. Meditate on it. It takes awhile to catch hold. And when you stay with it, you will see a change—a change in what you think about hour by hour and a change in your actions.

My question is…The formula to create 21TEN, why this combination? I personally love the benefits, but would love to know more about the science behind the combination. I love when people look at the ingredients and think that they have to choose which Life Shotz flavor they want to try…the look on their face when I tell them that all those fruits are in Life Shotz – that is PRICELESS!
Answers: How many should be at a meeting with Barry and me? Two answers: How many do you want to see there? How many will make a quantum leap in your check? How many will help you and all of them really SEE the big picture? How many will help you achieve your goal of how many of yours you want to have in Florida for the conference? It is your business; your goals; your check and your empires.
Second answer: Minimum double the number you had at your last Corporately attended event and here is how you do it:
Get everyone together that was at the last meeting…excluding guests that did not join. Get them together in an email group and a conference call. Tell them about the meeting and ask each one for an iron clad commitment to be there with at least one great prospect OR better yet one brand new rep they have sponsored between now and the meeting and that persons new great prospect. ( in other words NEVER wait for the meeting to sponsor. Use the meeting to accelerate whatever group you already have. Never wait!)
To help them See themselves doing it NO MATTER WHAT ask them if they could come with someone if we gave them $1,000. Of course they could. Just ask them to operate from that level of belief and commitment.
Presence for them the distinction of Commitment vs a Decision of Convenience. See the chapter in Mach II on this.
Spend an hour if you need to working through everyone on the call. Get a commitment for at least one…maybe more from each person. People that cannot come due to prior commitments ,just leave them out of the process but keep them included in the community.
Tally up all the numbers. If you do it this way it will blow your mind how many people you can all visualize having…at least double the previous event.
Keep the list of who committed to how many and remind people via email so everyone can see the list.
This is creating quantum leaps in your success by breaking the commitment into bite size pieces. Everyone can visualize themselves attending no matter what..unless they have a previous commitment. And almost everyone can figure out how to get at least one..especially if you guide them to see and feel themselves doing it when they are powerfully motivated ( $1,000).
I used this technique with my local group to go from one meeting a week in one city to 31 weekly meetings in 31 cities each with a Saturday training culminating in annual events in the thousands and 30,000 people in my group. You can too.
This is a DREAM COME true! An absolute DREAM COME true … it all began with my first reading of Mach II — and reading it again and again and again, twice a year for several years in a row.
Next came a ‘gift with purchase audio CD’, (I called it a freebie, and thankfully Michael taught me it’s referred to as a “gift by purchase”) when I first heard Michael Clouse. That was the “Simple Art of Duplication” .. Art Jonak interviewing Clouse.
One thing lead to the next and BAM! Here I am with 21TEN …

I know as my past experiences to prospect are “face to face” yet the faces these days are “facebook” as a way to get out there vs. the “leads calling” i used to do. would love more support on facebook postings vs emailing postings etc. would be great as a Prospecting Tool.

One challenge that I faced is how can we help people to make the connection between their current situation and our company is the vehicle to a better life style? Lots of people that I talked to still have the employee mentality.
In other words, how to get them to take a look at the business to begin with?
I live in Dallas and I traveled to Lubbock for one of these events! I was hooked! I know we have to build relationships and that takes time. In your opinion do small ads in the newspaper, inviting people to attend local events, work very well? Also, how can enthusiasm be conveyed in an ad so it will be caught by those who want more? My upline is coming to Dallas in August and I want to pack the room! Thank you.
Study the conversations in “Mail Box Money” and “The Four Year Career”. Ask people about their plan B. Find out when they would like to be in a position to retire. Do they know for sure their company will be in business and their pension, 401k or (201k) will hold up until then? How much income do they want during retirement, the phase of their life when they have the time to do everything on their Bucket List?
Let’s say they want $5,000 a month in retirement, they will need $1.5 – $2.5 million in income producing assets to earn that. Will they have it? How do they know?
Or they could spend the next 2-4 years part time having fun with a life changing product and build up that level of pure residual income and a net worth of $2 million without saving or investing!
Use tools like “Mail Box Money” and “The Four Year Career” Generic tools are often better for those that are skeptical.
Facebook as a Prospecting Tool?
I don’t believe much in Facebook as a prospecting tool. What you have to ask yourself is, “Who are my Facebook friends? How many do I have?” For example I have about 2,600 “friends”, most of who are competitors. There are only about 100 of my Facebook friends that are non-networkers. So why would I promote my company or product on Face Book? They do not want to see it just like I don’t want to see theirs…except of course as research as to what the competition is up to.
The only play on Facebook is to “contribute” to people. I know most them are interested in personal development; abundance, free enterprise and network marketing. I look for people, articles and events to share with them that may support them in building their own business. Those are well received. My pitch about my product would not be.
The only prospecting play from this approach is long term. In networking, 95-99% of individuals will eventually be “in between” opportunities. If you are a servant vs. a salesperson; if you are someone they remember as a leader they may want to play with, they may contact you. And most of the time they do not…they end up in the opportunity presented powerfully to them when they are ready to hear it.
I recommend that 21TEN and Oxyfresh leaders post articles, videos, quotes etc. from the leaders in 21TEN and Oxyfresh that have produced GENERIC network marketing and personal development material. Lisa Jimenez, Michael Clouse, Janine Avila, Barry Smith and I have tons of it. If your friends like what you post and follow the trail they will find a vast library of resources with which to build their businesses. Next time they are in between…which could be tomorrow, they just may think of you.
The only real valid source of prospects are people you can meet face to face locally. I know you can spend a ton of time and money building a web funnel to bring you prospects. It does work but I don’t know enough about it to teach it. The challenge I would have in doing it myself is my prospects, none of whom I would know or have a relationship with, will be scattered all over the world. How do I support them? How do I get to know them? How do I break bread with them?
If I could create a flow of prospects specifically in cities where we have excited groups that are having weekly meetings I would do it. Create the flow of prospects, find the best leader and build under that leader. And most importantly be willing to go there and spend a week building heart to heart. One hour heart to heart cannot be matched by 100 hours on the phone or a life time on email. Spirits do not travel on the high tech highways.
Build locally. Get out and meet people with a purpose. Meaning, go to things locally with a purpose other than prospecting. My favorite system is to read the papers and local magazines daily. Make notes of all the open events…someone is speaking on health care or wealth care. Someone is doing a book signing. This group meets weekly to support each other on some issue. Every week there are dozens of opportunities to go to a meeting or event or something with people you do not know but you are all there for a common theme. Go to something 3-4 times a week and let time and your magnetic personality attract people to you. In a month or two you will have more new friends than you can handle.
How do you attract people to you? Ask curiosity questions about them and LISTEN THERAPUTICALLY. Dress well, smell good (i.e. natural…NO COLOGNE or perfumes), drive a clean car, carry samples and business cards. Be on fire about life and people and they will warm their hearts on your hearth. Gather business cards…all you really need are their names, email or Facebook status. Follow up with them…not about your business but about their business. Look for articles and other people you know that would serve their cause. Serve them. Support them. Nurture them. If they sell cars look for articles or audios or videos or prospects that might help them. Give, Give, Give. Become “The Most Interesting Person” they have ever met…not because you are so interesting but because you are so interested…in them.
When people do ask you what you do be ready to tell them something truthful, simple, attractive, interesting and fun. For example: I am a network marketer. I build long term second incomes for people and sometimes immediate incomes for people. Always sell the money. People are far more interested in income than a product. Don’t try to sell people or close them. Be a safe place for them to be curious. They will eventually ask you enough questions for you to introduce them to what you do.
Do this locally starting with one, then two, then four, then ten people in your weekly get together. Getting to ten people can take as long as going from ten to 100. Be patient but diligent. Be on fire and sensitive. And most important be Undeniable. Don’t let anyone or anything deny you from your destiny of health, wealth and freedom.

Ads are fine if you have the money to invest (throw away). They usually do not work nearly as well as “networking”. That is why our business is called Network Marketing. If advertising worked we would all be gazillionaires decades ago. And you can at times find an ad and find an audience that will click. Just make sure you know the money you invest is a gamble.
Ways to spark the group? Fun. Fun keeps the energy flowing.
Prospect in Pairs. If you approach someone by yourself, even over the phone and their response is a no, it can get to you. If you have someone with you, whether on the other line or live, no’s are funny, not funky. You can laugh all the way to the next one. Watch the Video “Go for No” with your group and discuss it.
Teach them the distinction of the deck of cards. There are four aces in every deck of cards. Aces are like people who not only say yes, but “Heck Yes! Let me get started right away”. Face cards are also yes’s, just perhaps not so emphatic. 7-9s will waste your time with their lifelong ‘maybe’ stories. 2-6’s will tell you no and all the reasons why you shouldn’t do it either. If you were flipping over a deck of cards looking for the Aces you wouldn’t be discouraged if you didn’t find any but would actually be more excited as you flipped because you would KNOW that your Aces are right around the corner. You don’t know if they are the first four cards, the last four cards or spaced evenly in between.
When you commit to prospect with this mentality, this vision and this attitude you will have more fun and be massively more productive. Fail forward through the No’s all the way to the Aces. They are there, I guarantee it.
Have parties instead of meetings. Gather people together to do fun things. Build their presentation books, their names lists and vision boards. Remember, you are all like individual sticks, alone you can easily be broken but banded together you can be the span of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Recognition sparks the group. You can create clubs, badges or ribbons for everyone in your group that has sponsored one, two, four or more. Celebrate their every little success.
Morning coffee date. Create a morning coffee group that meets at a Starbucks type place. Your energy and excitement can send sparks into the tables next to you.
Fun, laughter and recognition are worth all the knowledge in the MLM universe. This business does not have to be hard. Make it easy and fun.

Richard. Thank you for all of the information you are sending our way. Want you to know that I “gifted” myself with the audio version or Mach II and it has been such a great “blessing”. I listen as I go back and forth to my job… Everytime I listen something else hits me in the face… As i was listening I remembered when I was younger and wanted something very much and how I did not let anything get in the way of getting it. One thing took over a year, but I achieved it. I am going to do it now.
One question, how do you feel about purchasing leads. Do you feel they bring enough to warrant the expense?

I have a prospect without internet or email and because my mantra has become, “Visit my website to find all the information you need,” I don’t know how to proceed after I give him samples and the Journal. I know you did this all without the internet in the past, but how do I stick to being the messenger and is duplication possible for someone not using the internet these days.
Natalie, burn the videos onto dvds and hand them out and or print the Opportunity Presentation and the Step by Step into a flip chart and take it to people one on one.
“in the old days” we did not have videos, web sites, email or cell phones. You told the story while showing the pictures…flip chart. You can do it that way for those that don’t have internet and you can recruit people that have access to all the tools. 99% of your prospects will be on line. Focus on them.
